Set in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félicité offers a moving portrait of a brave lounge singer trying to save her son.
Félicité is a courageous, free-willed woman whose life is thrown into turmoil when her 14-year-old son suffers from an accident. Desperate to raise the funds to save him, Félicité sets out on a breakneck race through the busy, dirty streets of Kinshasa in a heady mix of music and broken dreams. The film is part of the London Film Festival.
