This year, to coincide with London restaurant festival, Champagne Gourmet Odyssey will be hosting a Discover East three course lunch on 28 October. Celebrating the gastronomic highlights of East London, here's what's on the menu:
Starting at Andaz London, you'll be treated to a champagne reception before hopping on a routemaster to Parisian-style wine bar, Noble Rot, for your starter. Considered 'relentlessly, gaspingly good' by food journalist Grace Dent, Noble Rot offers a compact menu based on British seasonal produce paired with a grown up wine list.
From there, it's time to head to Quality Chop House for the main course. Since re-opening the Grade II listed building in 2012, Quality Chop House has received rave reviews. 'Hear me now', intoned Times journalist Giles Coren, 'do not make the mistake of dying before you have eaten here'. You have been warned.
Finally, the routemaster will speed you away to Yauatcha for pudding. The only dim sum restaurant in the UK to have a michelin star, Yauatcha's handmade sweets and 'delicate cakes' (Jay Rayner) are legendary. A perfect end to the perfect foodie journey.
We have pairs of free tickets for Gold Whisper members to attend this luxurious event. Book now or regret it later!
