It takes a special kind of culinary vision to top The Good Food Guide three years in a row. Simon Rogan of L'Enclume's has this talent in spades. He produces wondrous, multi-course meals that mix produce from his own farms with foraged herbs. L'Enclume has gradually taken over a number of cottages in the gorgeous village of Cartmel. Each is decorated with beautiful antiques and paintings sourced locally. And Cartmel just happens to be the home of the original Sticky Toffee Pudding too.
The Cartmel Escape is available every day except Monday & Saturday.
