The next generation female chefs to know in London
Hot on the heels of Clare Smyth (of Core by Clare Smyth) being announced The World's Best Female Chef 2018, here are 15 more women in London's kitchens to visit now
Andi Oliver is a culinary force to be reckoned with. From starring in Radio 4's Kitchen Cabinet, Andi has gone on to open her own Stoke Newington restaurant and become the new host of Great British Menu (taking over from Prue Leith).
The menu is vibrant and eclectic: ranging from plantain croquettes with miso mayo and beef tartare, to Persian chicken, tabbouleh with harissa yoghurt, and mushroom schnitzel with capers and dill. Nostalgic desserts deserve indulging in whether it is chocolate Oreo cheesecake with Bourbon caramel or cardamom rice pudding with blood orange caramel.
It's a really laid-back, friendly neighbourhood restaurant with great, jazz-accented music.
