The exuberant Zoe Adjonyoh is almost single-handedly making West African food more accessible and more understood on the London culinary map. Whether it is her signature chicken jollof with lettuce wraps or cinema snacks of akam fritters, crisp okra and kelewale (plantain) at her new residency within Hackney's Institute of Light/cinema/dining space. It has become one of the hippest places to brunch as well.
