Superstar chef Tom Sellers is going back to his Nottinghamshire roots with an immersive Robin Hood inspired dining experience. While Restaurant Story closes for refurbishment, Sellers will transform an old Victorian tannery in Bermondsey into a Sherwood forest-style banqueting hall.
The menu will include four courses of historically inspired dishes, such as bone marrow with eel & parsley and lardy cake with salted blackberries and cultured ice cream. Tipples will be selected by Story’s Head Sommelier. Even better, there will be an 'enchanted-woodland-style bar' with forest-themed cocktails, and every Wednesday there will be a different guest chef changing up the menu.
Expect candles, vines and exquisite twists on old English grub.
Tickets are on sale now and it's likely to be a sell-out.
