The best chef's tables in London
How to feast your eyes on what really goes on in the kitchen at restaurants
At an immersive crescent shaped table that seats up to 10, diners have the opportunity to scrutinise the massive engine room of Marcus Wareing's Gilbert Scott, whilst tasting the resoundingly British menu created by chef Michael d'Adamo. It's a really impressive experience and guests are encouraged to leap over the table and help a little in the kitchen/with plating if it is not too hectic.
A tasting menu might include Sussex pumpkin ravioli, Cornish roasted pollock with vegetables, Cumbrian lamb shoulder with calcots, and caramelised white chocolate parfait with Yorkshire rhubarb.
There's a special offer on the Chef's Table right now: £59 for five courses served Mon-Sun lunch and Sun-Thurs dinner.
Otherwise expect to pay £79 for 5 courses and £95 for 8 courses at lunch or dinner.
