The best chef's tables in London
How to feast your eyes on what really goes on in the kitchen at restaurants
There's no hiding techniques behind glass at James Knappett's Kitchen Table, as the guests are seated right in the kitchen. This is a rare opportunity to scrutinise one of the leading creative young chefs at work. Knappett previously worked at Noma and Per Se although he draws greatly on British traditions and ingredients too. Even beyond seeing how dishes are prepared and plated, there's time and opportunity to talk to the chefs about individual dishes and their sourcing of ingredients, techniques and special tricks.
The wine list is ace too, as Knappett's wife and business partner, Sandi Chang is one of London's best regarded sommeliers.
Tasting menu: £125 per person
