So, on any normal night at the Almeida, you'll find Andrew Scott playing Hamlet in Robert Icke's 'mesmerising and arresting' production. But on two abnormal nights, Dickie Beau, lip-synch artist extraordinaire, will be delivering his take on 'The Dane'. He will lip-synch along to recordings of Hamlet through the ages, with the aim of becoming the Über-Hamlet. Watch out, Andrew. There are just two performances of this extraordinary show – for those who like their Shakespeare a little bit meta and very, very clever.
