Based on the children's book by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks, a troupe of playful puppets will help translate the story for the stage. With music by Barb Jungr (We're Going On A Bear Hunt), Little Angel Theatre promises to make a splash with this soulful show – and just in time for half-term.

The classic, cautionary showbiz tale follows the misadventures of a musical mermaid. With promises of fame, fortune, and a full-sized swimming pool, our heroine deserts her peaceful Silversands home to join a travelling circus. Although she performs every night, she finds herself trapped in a small tank by treacherous circus master, Sam Sly. She longs to return to the freedom of the seas, but escape is seemingly impossible.
Will anyone take pity on this poor unfortunate soul? Will she ever manage to escape her earthly confinements? Be sure to book early so you don't miss the spectacular story unfold in an explosion of colours, songs, and playful puppets at the Little Angel Theatre.
