And what lots they are. Picasso's greatest Cubist portrait Femme assise is expected to fetch in excess of £30 million. Modigliani's great portrait of his muse and lover Jeanne Hébuterne (au foulard) is here. We have Jenny Saville's momentous Shift: a wall-to-ceiling canvas, full of supine naked female forms, beautifully caught between sex and death. Rodin's lifesize Eve, formerly in the collection of Sylvester Stallone, is just glorious. We have a Gaugin still life, some (quite hideous) Renoirs, a Chagall nocturne, Warhol prints of Jackie Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, a masterpiece of Keith Haring's – and much more. Truly an embarrassment of riches.
A rare chance to see work that is mostly secreted away in private collections – but hurry! It closes at the end of the month.
