Throughout the day you might find yourself bartering with award-winning photographer Juno Calypso or the father of the 1960s psychedelic art Nigel Waymouth who will be signing his 1967 posters from the summer of love. In fact, love is theme of the fair's 'mid-summer art love-in' edition, and with many artworks going for under £50 – who doesn't love a good bargain?
Expect groovy festival vibes with Juliet Russell’s Portobello Live! choir belting out gooey love songs and the Queer Campervan will bring Woodstock-esque magic from their bespoke caravan/stage. If all that love works up an appetite, then food and drink stalls will be around to nourish the body and soul. There will also be a host of entertainment available to get stuck into such as screen printing, raffles, and portrait opportunities. This flamboyant fair is sure to make it a summer to remember.
This is a ticketed event. You can buy tickets online in advance and tickets will be also available on the door from 2pm onwards.
