Soon to be installed right by the Thames at the chain’s Tower Bridge branch, they promise maximus cosiness, with fluffy blankets and sheepskin rugs on offer as well as the bar’s usual range of food and drink. Previous years have seen them become wildly popular for eating, drinking and of course Instagramming, so be warned that advance planning will inevitably be needed to secure your spaces if you don’t want to be relegated to a malfunctioning pub patio heater.
Booking for these hotly-contested spots will go live on Tuesday 9 October, the details of which will be announced via Coppa Club’s social media channels. But if you can’t wait until then, the bar is holding an appropriately-named ‘Ig-fest’ from 4pm on Saturday 6 October to debut the return of the igloos, featuring live music, ‘gin-gerbread men’ and hot G&Ts courtesy of Sipsmith. It’s free to attend but walk-in only, so competition for spaces will undoubtedly run high.
