February theatre highlights: 5 shows to see

The stars are out in full force this February: London Theatre highlights include appearances from Daniel Radcliffe, Imelda Staunton and Andrew Scott.
Revivals and big names dominate, as the most exciting shows opening this month include two takes on Shakespeare, two vintage Tom Stoppard plays and a revival from a late, great American playwright.

Tamsin Greig stars as Malvolia in this National Theatre revival of Shakespeare's identity-swapping shipwreck comedy.

London revival: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, Daniel Radcliffe stars

Tom Stoppard revival: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Old Vic Theatre

50 years since its premiere at the Old Vic, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is revived on the same stage in 2017, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire.

America's finest: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Harold Pinter Theatre

The recent death of triple Tony and three times Pulitzer-winning American writer Edward Albee triggered tributes all around the world. This February his masterpiece Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is revived starring Imelda Staunton.

Travesties, Apollo Theatre

20 years after bagging Evening Standard and Tony Awards, Tom Stoppard's play Travesties returns to the West End's Apollo Theatre after a sellout revival at the Menier Chocolate Factory this autumn. The Night Manager's Tom Hollander stars.
