Thankfully, Cain is on hand to champion their cause, to shine a light on the struggles and joys of introversion. As you might already know, she’s made good progress; perhaps you’re one of the twelve million people who’ve watched her TED video or one of the two million who’ve brought her book Quiet: Growing up as an Introvert in a World That Can’t Stop Talking.
On July 14, Cain comes to The Tabernacle, carrying the torch of solitude once again. Herself an introvert, she’s in the curious position of advocating quiet and seclusion via that most extroverted of media: the public lecture. Still, irony aside, this is set to be quite an evening.
