Based on Dickens' own stage adaptation of the classic Victorian novel, the show follows miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he is confronted by the ghosts of Christmasses past, present and future. It's a sobering vision, which teaches Scrooge (and his audience) the true meaning of Christmas.
Having written a biography of Charles Dickens, Simon Callow is doubly qualified to bring Scrooge to life on stage. This production of A Christmas Carol returns to the stage after sellout productions on 2011 and 2012, so book fast to see it in the intimacy of the Arts Theatre.
