“I sit at my desk waiting for an email that will tell me what I need to do to get my film script onto the screen. I turn the radio on. I listen to a report about the refugee crisis. My mother calls. She tells me she’s broken The Duke.” The one-man show by award-winning writer and performer Shôn Dale-Jones uses his knack for original, captivating storytelling to tell a tale with a poignant nod to issues affecting people the world over. It follows one man’s fantastical journey as he weighs up his commitments to his work, his mother and to paying attention to the refugee crisis.
Tickets have no set prices; you simply pay what you are able to after the performance, with all proceeds going to Save The Children’s Child Refugee Crisis Appeal.
In addition to the show’s run, following the 4:30pm and 7pm performances on 14th October, guests are invited to attend a free post-show insight discussion.
