Our top kids pick is the one off poetry reading in February from poet Roger McGough (the "patron saint of poetry" according to Carol Ann Duffy) who will be reading, sketching illustrations and talking through his poetry. Make sure you book early for it.
Another favourite is Comedy Club 4 Kids, which promises to deliver all the laughs of a standard comedy show but without any of the smut or swearing. A mixture of stand-comedians and sketch artists will be on hand to keep the family rolling in their seats.
There's also exciting selection of family theatre and dance shows, including the Tap Dancing Mermaid, who finds she can only dance alone in the dark when no one is watching, until one day she falls involve with a 'watery boy'; and the rip-roaringly funny Captain Morgan's Family Show. Captain Morgan (not the spiced rum) is on quest to discover time-travel with his first mate Hammond.
This year, there's a number of performances and activities for London's very little ones, including Puzzle, a show featuring huge brightly coloured shapes that form recognisable vegetables as they jump about on stage.
