Alien: Escape isn't for the faint of heart (or stomach), but it looks bloody fun. Visitors over the age of fifteen are greeted by the world’s first wax sculpture of Michael Fassbender at the door before embarking on a race for survival through the film’s legendary spaceship, the Nostromo.
Awaking from a hyper sleep chamber, players will have to stay sharp as they launch into the fray and face face-huggers, translucent extra-terrestrial eggs, that lurk in the ship’s winding corridors. Live actors play fellow crew members – not all of them alive. Expect gory montages that recall the infamous chest-bursting scene from the 1979 film as well as slippery ropes of alien slime decorate. The game promises big-budget terror – enough to set any heart racing.
For fans of VR, Alien: Escape is the horror experience of a lifetime which promises to test the famous saying that, in space, no one can hear you scream.
