Following a showstopping Glastonbury performance full of magenta sparkles, fearless flute solos and ferocious sing-alongs, Lizzo has announced nine further dates for European audiences to look forward to later this year.
Starting with Paris and ending with Copenhagen, the artist has planned four UK dates within her upcoming tour, including London on 6 November, Glasgow on 8 November, Dublin on 10 November and Manchester on 11 November.
'I want you to hear my songs and feel a connection to me', she says. 'I hope you can apply what I'm saying to your own life and maybe have a better day. Share this experience with me'.
Body positivity isn't a brand new trend, but few artists bring it to the stage and into audience's minds with as much boundless confidence and open-hearted self-love as Lizzo. What could be seen as a buzzword is only felt in its visceral truth when she sings.
Her soulfulness is infectious – every song is meant to be sung loud and with as big a crowd as possible, and yet still feels like it's very directly being performed solely to heal your individual soul and lift your spirit.
A night with Lizzo is one of empowerment, joy, fun and ferocity. People are starting to catch on – you'll want to book fast to experience it.
