The Valhalla Vodka Bar on the popular rooftop of Tower Hill Hilton is taking inspiration from the Vikings—think wooden chalets, benches covered in sheepskin throws and candles. Although you might not see any fjords, you can expect stunning views across London, especially in the evening.
Guests are invited to tuck into mugs of mulled wine or hot apple cider, but we expect the best way to enjoy the atmosphere will be with one of the bar's bespoke winter cocktails. Presented by Snow Queen Vodka, the cocktails feature a combination of Aperol, passion fruit puree and apple juice—the Glapsvidr—and a floral mixture of lavender syrup, blueberry syrup, lime, apple juice and soda, called a Hrafnass.
There’s also an array of hunter-gatherer foods on offer—hearty and wholesome: think marinated meats and authentic bread and cheese directly from Scandinavia. For those looking to get cosy above the bustle of the city this Christmas.
