Sushi and sashimi, udon and izikaya: how to do Japan in London
This is the fifth opening of the Danish take on sushi and yakitori. Over two floors, it is spacious and artfully decked out in Scandi style.
Their creative signature takes on sushi, yakitori and chirashi bowls are served alongside more adventurous dishes including scallops in kataifi with miso aioli and beef tataki with chives, almonds, yuzu-kosho and spicy goma.
They cater too for those that like the soy sauce infused culture of sushi yet won't do raw fish. There's a choice of clever and enticing chicken, beef, pork and vegetable skewers.
It's a fun, informal, non precious, busy place, and it is especially welcoming to families.
