Over 50 of Mexico’s best tequila, mezcal and agave spirits will be available to sample at the event. Plus, George Clooney’s brand new Casamigos Mezcal will officially launch at the festival, meaning attendees will be among the first to try it. Guests will also have the chance to enjoy street food from three of London’s popular Mexican restaurants: Taqueria (from head chef Adam Pawlak), Peyotito (from top Mexican chef Adriana Cavita) and Café Pacifico – London’s first ever Mexican restaurant. The currency of the festival? The Mexican peso, of course. Guests will be able to exchange sterling on the door for it; once inside, each cocktail and dish will cost you £7.00 (70 pesos).
Each room will host a selection of art installations, including contemporary art from Mexican Design Time – part of the London Design Festival 2018. Raindance will be showcasing short Mexican films, meanwhile live musicians playing Mariachi and folkloric dancers will be performing throughout the venue. Oh, and don’t leave before catching a live Aztec ceremony.
