London based designer Mary Katrantzou is famous for using bright colours and bold prints. In the wake of zesty, luxe trainers from brands such as New Balance and Nike, it's not so surprising that Adidas have brought Katrantzou on board to revamp their beloved Adidas Originals.
The collaboration, which was announced in April, is set to hit the shops on November 15. These trainers are not for the shy fashionista: think bold prints, loud colours and eclectic juxtapositions.
The designer took the iconic 1970's track shoe as her starting point, but the range doesn't end with the feet. Also in the collection are body hugging zip up dresses and futuristic oversized jackets, all emblazoned with Katrantzou's signature vibe.
Adidas has previously collaborated with Yohji Yamamoto, Raf Simons, Rick Owens, and Pharrell Williams. And with the launch of Alexander Wang for H&M coming up it looks like relationship between street wear and luxury designers is going to keep on running.
