Dvorak's Cello Concerto, and a story in music

Outstanding German cellist Daniel Müller-Schott is the soloist in Dvorak's passionate and affectionate Cello Concerto. The programme opens with the overture from the Cornish opera The Wreckers, and closes with Richard Strauss's heroic and story-filled orchestral portrait Ein Heldenleben. Otto Tausk conducts Proms favourites the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
