The cinema at Kit Kemp's Soho Hotel is state-of-the-art (no popcorn rustling, please), and boasts two screening rooms and seats kitted out in red leather and cowhide. The Film Club is offering a select but wide-ranging array of festive classics. For those in search of a rom-com, Love Actually is showing on 5 and The Holiday on 13 December. For something more old-school (read: black-and-white), It's A Wonderful Life is on 19 December with Miracle on 34th Street on 20 December. And, for unabashed Christmas cheesiness, you've got White Christmas on 13 December and the ever-beloved Elf on Christmas Eve.
And if the promise of classic films in a boutique setting isn't enough, the Soho Hotel is offering a three-course meal pre-film in their Refuel Restaurant, with a menu that boasts salmon served with samphire, piquillo peppers and basil oil and a goat's cheese and caramelised onion pastry that we're itching to try. If you're feeling extra-luxe, you can add a glass of Pommery Champagne for £10 or order à la carte.
