London Design Festival: where to eat
LDF 2017 is the biggest design movement of the year, but its sheer scale can be overwhelming. When it all gets too much, slip into one (impeccably designed) chair and take stock of each London Design Festival district's food.
There are nine Design Districts this year spread over the capital: Brompton, Chelsea, Islington, Clerkenwell, Shoreditch, Mayfair, Brixton, Pimlico Road and Bankside: here's where to stop and refresh at each one. Make sure to note down the special LDF offers too.
No.11 Pimlico Road is a buzzy local favourite, open from 9am until midnight (11pm, Sundays). It's a lively, all-day dining spot – a place where you can roll up first thing for breakfast, linger over brunch and lunch or nip in for a nightcap. And the food is a notch above what you'd expect.
The on-trend interiors are muted grey with natural stone finishes and Instagrammable touches. What more could you want following a day mooching around Pimlico's textile and interiors dealers?
