From the launch of London’s first floating pocket park (on the Grand Union Canal, at Merchant Square, Paddington) to art exhibitions, there's something for everyone – from keen gardeners to families with time on their hands. Highlights include Folk & Flower, a night of garden-related folk music with performances from Hazel Askew and Carol Anderson at Oxford House in Bethnal Green, and The Inner Temple Dog Show at Inner Temple's award-winning garden – one of the largest green spaces in the City – with prizes for dogs and owners for the most fashion-forward floral outfits.
The fringe will run over a bank holiday, from 20 May to 4 June. Its schedule is constantly being added to, so check online to keep up to date. With so much of hidden London to see, it would be a shame to miss the city in bloom.
