Freed from the claustrophobic and overwhelming interior of the tents, the artworks are allowed to breathe. You wander through the park, dodging joggers, and are surprised by sculpture behind a corner, or hiding underneath a tree.
This year we'll have works from man-of-the-moment Conrad Shawcross, American sculptor Claus Oldenburg, Jean Dubuffet, Ed Herring and English heavyweight Lynn Chadwick.
World-leading galleries participating in Frieze London and Frieze Masters will extend their shows beyond the fair, dramatising the landscape of The Regent’s Park, with 19 large-scale sculptures and installations remaining on view until 8 January 2017.
