Taking over the Whitechapel Gallery is the 7th annual London Art Book Fair where art lovers can unearth major art catalogues, rare publications and brand new treats.
What to expect?
There are 90 independent publishers to get to grips with, but 2015 is focused on leading Scandinavian publishers. Alongside powerhouse publishers like Koenig Books and Thames & Hudson, visitors will find stylish publications from London’s many smaller galleries and cutting-edge books from the likes of Italy and the US.
Special Events
But there is more on offer than just buying and selling: look out for the unique series of talks, workshops and events taking place across the weekend including a discussion between Royal Academy teacher Michael Craig-Martin and his former pupils Fiona Rae and Richard Noble on What's so special about art school?. You'll also want to catch the special events in the Performance as Publishing programme.
The Art Book Fair is one of the most buzzing and stimulating events in the London art diary this autumn. One that Culture Whisper won’t miss!
