The roaring success of the 2014-5 exhibition definitively proved that, 40 years on from his death, the ‘King of Rock ’n’ Roll’ continues to reign. He also still manages to rein in the crowds; more than 200,000 people visited the original exhibition to catch a glimpse of Graceland's treasures.
Among the memorabilia on display, much of which has been keep under wraps for years, will be Elvis' flamboyant jumpsuits — along with the bills for dry cleaning and repair — a golden microphone, that knock-out Las Vegas belt and even a recreation of the inside of his private jet.
The exhibition focuses in particular on his touring years, from 1969-77. Costumes and items seen in the 1972 Golden Globe-winning documentary Elvis on Tour will take centre stage.
If you are a fan, or just curious to get a peek behind the persona, then get yourself down to The 02, because Elvis is back in the building.
Tickets go on sale on 18 August.
