Buly 1803 + Louvre Museum Fragrance Collaboration
French pharmacy Buly 1803 channels some of the Louvre museum’s most famous works and brings them to life in the form of a scent
Buly 1803 Belle Epoque Packaging
It could be said that Buly 1803 have fragrance down to a fine art. The latest collaboration for the French apothecary brand and their perfumer friends is with the Musée du Louvre in Paris and they are predicting what the ‘Nymph with a Scorpion’ or the ‘Venus de Milo’ might smell like, and bottling it just for you. The latter, for instance, is an intoxicating scent that the brand describes as, ‘a gentle white of jasmine, neroli, of the matte and polished pearls of magnolia, amber, and sacred wood. Eternal, without past or present, the beauty of the marble goddess, elusive and notional lifts up the soul with timeless bliss.’
Along with the fragrances, expect to find candles in travertine holders, scratch-and-sniff postcards and scented soap sheets with whimsical Belle Epoque illustrations on the packaging.
Find them on sale at the Louvre Museum, or order from Buly 1803, and you can also add engraving to the bottles free of charge too.
