After years of the largest restoration project in Kew's history, the spectacular Temperate House opens its doors revealing 10,000 plants inside an architectural wonder. Here are a few things we think you should know before going.

After these years hidden behind a tent-like structure large enough to house three Boeing 747s, the Temperate House has been reincarnated – a glistening cathedral that retains its original Victorian splendour all whilst incorporating cutting edge climate control technology.
