Sabine Cattaneo uses visual language and near-documentary style to address the questions surrounding assisted death. In Switzerland, assisted suicide is regulated under Article 115 of the Swiss Criminal Code. Cattaneo’s portrayal of mortality resonates by finding commonplace humanity in the complex and stigmatized practice won the Conceptual prize.
