Our favourite looks from Paris Couture Week
We are such stuff as dreams are made of: flounces, ruffles, sequins, beading, embroidery. In Paris, petits mains hand-sew hundred thousand pound dresses for the annual Couture Week. With strict entrance requirements, the fashion houses who show have serious credentials. Choosing our favourites was impossible.
On this catwalk, Schiaparelli nodded to its past with another take on her iconic Lobster Dress (painted on by Dali in 1937). Whilst the lobster was dreamy and painterly, we preferred these two designs- the first pretty and wild, the second comes with a sharp cape.
