Founded on the tenet of Roman Polanski's comment; 'Cinema should make you forget you are sitting in a theatre', Everyman Cinema strives to turn the cinematic space into a home from home. Encouraging a warm and welcoming atmosphere, guests are invited to kick back and relax over a nice glass of red wine or a slice of freshly made pizza.
But it's not just the quality of the food and drink selection that makes the whole experience so unique and enticing; more the fact that it's a brand showcasing a consistently high standard of cinema without confining itself to one niche. Screening mainstream hits alongside art house and classic films, their calendar is impressively curated to appeal to all tastes.
And bringing their brand to Selfridges this September, Everyman are putting on a stylish programme featuring a variety of fashion-related films, including the aesthetically phenomenal A Single Man (the first film directed by Tom Ford), The September Issue (a fascinating documentary following Anna Wintour as she creates the 2007 September issue of Vogue), and Breakfast at Tiffany's (of course synonymous with timeless style).
Thurs September 11th – Thurs September 18th, Selfridges, 400, Oxford Street, W1A 1AB
