London's best events in 2018
London life: exciting, unpredictable, growing bigger and more ridiculous every year. 2018 isn't short of fun, celebration and incredible celebrity appearances. Put these dates in your diary: it might be months in advance but you'll thank us when they all sell out.
Why go? A relatively recent festival that's made ground with Londoners since its inception because it's a totally free, city-wide light festival that everyone can enjoy. In 2018, look out for the Umbrella project, featuring dancers with LED umbrellas and head to Westminster Abbey for The Light of the Spirit (above).
What happened last year? This 'nocturnal outdoor exhibition' suffered from crowd control problems in 2016 and did not return in 2017. Producers Artichoke have made significant improvements for 2018.
