Catnip Festival: London's First Cat Festival, The Coronet
London's first Cat Video Festival comes to Elephant & Castle to celebrate the finest work of the pussycat world
Do you know your know your Nyan from your Grumpy? If you're the type of person who could happily while away the hours surfing the web for videos of our furry friends then, this Friday 25th November, once you're all shopped out with Black Friday, head to Elephant and Castle's The Coronet where London's first Cat Video Festival will be staged.
The Catnip Festival offers a whole host of purr-suasive reasons to get you down to celebrate amongst feline friends with a cat gymnasium, meme gallery and interactive arcade games and performers. Dance like the ninja cat himself as you get down to DJ sets, and get inspired by Catrobics and a feline cabaret.
The festival aims to celebrate the best of viral cat videos which have taken the internet by storm since youtube, memes and gifs took over the online world. The evening promises to showcase the very best of the purr-forming arts world with cat-erwauling meow-sic to dance the night away to.
There are litter-ally so many reasons to head to the Catnip Festival, and what's more, the night is in aid of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, so you can rest assured your money goes to a good cause.
