Frida won tequila challenges, wore whatever she wanted, was openly bisexual and sported arguably the most iconic unibrow of all time. Her work was an authentic depiction of the many 'taboo' experiences that women face, like abortion, miscarriage, fertility, ability, and breastfeeding. She defied all gender stereotypes, to say the least.
