The best creative workshops London has to offer
Itching to mould some clay or design your own print? There are plenty of enticing creative workshops to throw yourself into in London. Whether you fancy yourself a budding candlemaker, a moonlighting potter or a side-hustling calligrapher, here are some of the best workshops and evening classes London has to offer.
The Royal Drawing School has been teaching the world how to wield a pencil since 2000. Founded by the Prince of Wales, they host over 250 classes for all ages and all abilities every year over their three studios in Shoreditch, Oxford Street and Trinity Buoy Wharf. They teach life drawing, painting, and etching among other techniques.
Their Monday Evening Live Drawing workshops (running from 29 April – 1 July 2019) are designed to give those with a little bit of experience in drawing a chance to further understand the practice. Each week, the tutor sets a different challenge, encouraging students to question the way they see, think and feel their way through drawing. Different mediums and paper sizes are encouraged.
