16 years later, Vietnam war veterans protested a new film that starred Fonda and Robert De Niro. A determined Fonda meets with those men but the content of that meeting was never divulged. A new London play explores the decisive moment in the actress' life.
Oscar nominated actress and Golden Globe winning Anne Archer plays the titular role in The Trial of Jane Fonda, which makes its London debut at Park Theatre. Writer Terry Jastrow has interviewed the actress' guides, veterans and Fonda herself, which will provide a unique mix of perspectives to the controversial encounter.
Directed by Joe Harmston, this is sure to be a talked-about production, so book soon.
