Simon Reade's stage adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved love story captures the charm and spirit of the prose, incorporating snippets of interior monologues to emphasise each character's quirks.
Designer Max Jones's set gives the period drama a dash of modern technology with a revolving two tier set, echoing the setting with a replica of the wrought-iron gates around Regent's Park. And director Deborah Bruce keeps the production pacy to capture Austen's quick wit. Casting for this re-run is yet to be announced, but we're crossing our fingers that Jennifer Kirby reprises the role of Lizzie Bennett.
