The Seagull, Playhouse Theatre

Emilia Clarke swaps her dragons for a Seagull in a fresh version of Chekhov's classic play, as part of Jamie Lloyd's star-studded theatre season.

City of Angels, Garrick Theatre

After dazzling audiences and selling out and winning an Olivier Award when it opened at the Donmar Warehouse in 2014, Josie Rourke's production of City of Angels finally comes to the West End. The original creative team, including choreographer Stephen Mear and designer Robert Jones return.

Blithe Spirit, Duke of York's Theatre

After an impressive opening at Theatre Royal Bath in summer 2019, Richard Eyre's revival of Blithe Spirit embarks upon a UK tour that culminates in a six-week run in the West End. Jennifer Saunders plays eccentric psychic medium Madame Arcati.

The Seven Streams of the River Ota, National Theatre

French-Canadian director Robert Lepage is a master of avant-garde theatre. He shifted boundaries of form and performance when The Seven Streams of the River Ota opened at the National 1996. Critics were divided, veering between 'inventive' and 'masterpiece' to 'disgust' and 'disbelief'. Now the seven-hour, multi-lingual epic returns.
