It's a dense, surreal two-hander chronicling the intense friendship and fantasy world of two Irish teenagers. Pig and Runt, as they call themselves, were born at the same time in the same hospital in Cork, Ireland. This closeness defines their whole world: they speak their own language, create their own rules and invent their own realities.
But there's a violent undercurrent to the fantasy, and, in a heady haze of disco and drink, things spiral out of control.
With just two actors, two chairs, and Walsh's peculiar, pacy dialogue it's an intense, frenetic experience, which is well suited to the small-capacity of the Trafalgar Studios Theatre.
Evanna Lynch, who is known around the world as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film franchise, will play Runt opposite Irish stage actor Colin Campbell (Dublin by Lamplight; Through A Glass Darkly) as Pig.
After all the hype Disco Pigs provoked 20 years ago, it's still a play with buzz of excitement around it. Add a high profile Harry Potter alumnus actor and affordable tickets (£15 - £30) and this revival is likely to a hot ticket. We recommend booking pronto.
