With spring come clearer skies and a better chance to see the stars. In an interactive presentation that covers the basics of using a telescope and reading celestial maps, as well as tips for more advanced stargazers, Royal Observatory astronomers Tom Kerss and Radmila Topalovic will be sharing some of their knowledge. Their new book, Stargazing: An Introduction to the Night Sky, contains everything that newcomers to astronomy need to know.
Ticket holders will be entered in a draw to win a family trip to the Royal Observatory.
Standard tickets £8, Foyalty members £5 (you must have your Foyles loyalty card with you on the night, to present at the door)
