Greed is most certainly good at the Barbican Centre this September. Feast your eyes on millionaire megalomaniacs and adolescent beggars during their Colour of Money season from 10 – 20 September.
A panel discussion, led by expert speakers and filmmakers, will kick off The Colour of Money season with an opening gala that poses the question, 'Is inequality killing London?'
Cinema Barbican: Films in the Season
The Barbican Film season programme will include a wide selection of drama films that explore wealth, poverty, corruption and consumerism. We’re particularly looking forward to attending the special preview of controversial documentary Tigers (2014) and rediscovering Scorsese flicks Casino (1995) and Wolf of Wall Street (2014).

Practical

VENUE DESCRIPTION

Magnificently monolithic, the enormous Barbican Centre houses screenings, concerts, theatre, exhibitions and two symphony orchestras: the LSO and the BBC. Navigating its walkways and levels can be a little difficult at times. To reward yourself for your effort, soak in some gin ‘n' juice at the Centre’s Gin Joint (if you can find it). The Lounge serves pretty good tapas and has even better views of the super-sized pond (Barbican call it a ‘lake’) below.
