New Statesman events
At this New Statesman event - part of a The Wapping Project series of talks that are tipped to be some of the best talks in London 2015 - Ian will be dissecting his most recent and critically successful book, the authorised biography of the visionary designer Vivienne Westwood.
Vivienne Westwood: biography
Vivienne Westwood, by Vivienne Westwood and Ian Kelly, is billed “as told to” - so expect to find Westwood’s impulses and obsessions opened up before you by Ian in this beautiful 18th century house. “Sex,” Westwood tells Kelly, “translated into fashion becomes fetish… the very embodiment of youth’s assumption of immortality.”
