RAEY'S DENIM

For the past few weeks, not a day goes by without spotting a fashion editor or French influencer wearing a pair of Raey jeans or the new cultish oversized denim shirt.

‘The aim for Raey is to create clothes that people want to wear,’ says head designer Rachael Proud, who drops seasonless luxury collections of high-quality core pieces alongside trend-led yet timeless styles exclusive to MatchesFashion.

Launched in 2015, the London-based label makes its manufacturing decisions based on reducing its environmental and social impact.

SA SU PHI'S DREAMY KNITWEAR

Launched as a new joint project for AW22, Sa Su Phi is the brainchild of former Valextra CEO Sara Ferrero and artistic director Susanna Cucco.

It is named after the duo’s respective initials and the Greek letter phi: a mathematical concept known as 'the golden ratio’ or perfect beauty in nature.

The label creates simple and versatile pieces that seamlessly adapt to the wearer's needs. The knitwear-focused collection is crafted in Italy and rendered from sumptuous cashmere and mohair.

Look out for cardigans, capes and turtlenecks boasting graphic textures and rich palettes of royal blue, bubblegum pink and canary yellow.

ANOTHER TOMORROW'S ELEVATED WORKWEAR

Vanessa Barboni Hallik founded Another Tomorrow after taking a sabbatical from her finance career to grow her understanding of responsible environmental and social practices, expanding on her master’s program in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.

The label is working towards tackling some of fashion’s most pressing issues, such as pollution by production chains, animal cruelty and unfair working conditions.

The refined ready-to-wear collection reflects a penchant for easy tailoring and timeless staples and is made from traceable organic linen and cotton, ethical wool and FSC-certified viscose to give wearers the opportunity to learn how the garment is made.

RELUXE: THE NEW GO-TO PRE-LOVED EDIT

Stylist, tastemaker and brand consultant Clare Richardson launched the designer resale site Reluxe after being frustrated by the wastage of clothing and product samples while working in the industry.

An advocate of slow fashion, the British and Italian Vogue contributing editor seeks to change consumer shopping habits by enabling the reselling and recirculating of luxury items, extending their wearable life to ultimately reduce the carbon, water and waste footprint of each piece.

Look to the label’s curated collections for one-of-a-kind vintage and authenticated runway pieces by fashion power houses like Chanel, Celine and Alaïa.
