Dinoski's unisex, animal-themed all-in-ones are a real favourite on the slopes - and they just happen to photograph beautifully, too. Each piece is designed with substance as well as style: extra padding protects easily bruised knees and elbows from tumbles in the snow, head-to-toe insulation and a fleece-lined collar ensure kids stay extra snug and spandex thumb mitts and an elasticated boot cover lining tick those attention-to-detail boxes. The brand's got eco-credentials to boot, using recycled plastic bottles to make the fabric as well as eco-friendly dyes?. You can also stock up on helmet covers, beanies, joggers and hoodies to add more of the cute animal motifs to your child's wardrobe - and they've recently launched kids' face masks, too.
Swedish brand Polarn O. Pyret has a limited collection of kids' ski staples including jackets, trousers, thermals and accessories and they are, quite simply, fabulous. And functional - just check out the waterproof shell and fleece combos, which popper into each other for easy layering. Fabrics used include recycled polyester and plastic water bottles. The brand launched PO.P Repairs last year, a free service available to any customers who made an outerwear purchase - it doesn't matter when or how used the item is. The programme offers free repairs to fix broken zips and replace poppers - ideal for rebooting a worn-out child's ski ensemble.
