Named after Louis Armstrong, this joint venture from Chiltern Firehouse's Guillaume Glipa and the Paris Society brings American chef Slade Rushing – a five-time James Beard award nominee (a barometer of American culinary excellence) – to London. The four-storey townhouse will boast a blend of flavours from New Orleans, Paris and London, all whilst serving up the heady spirit of NOLA (there'll be live brass bands) alongside the sophistication of Paris.

... with the Burberry face mask

The anticipated Burberry face mask is dropping soon, arriving in two shades of the house vintage check, along with a matching pouch. The British designer brand's foray into protective wear is unsurprising, given its inspired response to the pandemic. In recent months, the brand converted a factory to make PPE, donated to food banks and helped to fund vaccine research. Burberry will donate 20% of the selling price of each mask to support global communities affected by the pandemic.

John Boyega has teamed up with filmmaker Steve McQueen (Widows, 12 Years A Slave) for a new racial anthology series, set within London’s West Indian community. Starting in the late 60s and concluding in the early 80s, Small Axe tells the stories of those who spoke truth to power. Boyega will play Met Police officer Logan Leroy MBE, who fought to reform the police from within after seeing his father assaulted by two officers.
